Acne cure a Gel is an antibacterial gel containing Clarithromycin which is a macrolide antimicrobial drug. Acne cure gel involves treating the acne from inside and out without causing any adverse effect to your overall health. Acne cure is an effective acne treatment because it reduces the four major factors that predispose a person to acne:

• - Oil production, - Skin inflammation.
• - Blockage of the skin pores.
• - The role of bacteria P. Acne.

MECHANISM OF ACTION :-

• - Clarithromycin prevents bacteria from growing by interfering with their protein synthesis.
• - It binds to the subunit 50S of the bacterial ribosome and thus inhibits the translation of peptides.
• - Acne is caused due to the blockage and the inflammation of skin pore or hair follicle. When oil is trapped in the hair follicles, the normal skin bacteria P.acnes will grow in the blocked pore.
• - The bacteria produce chemicals that alter the composition of the oil, which makes it more irritating to the skin and causes inflammation of the skin pore.
• - This results in superficial skin eruptions.

INDICATIONS :-

• - Indicated for the treatment of pimples, blackheads, whiteheads and more severe forms of acne.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :-

• - Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this medicine.

SIDE EFFECTS :-

• - Skin dryness and possible irritation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE :-

• - Apply once daily to washed and dried areas for maximum of 15 minutes initially and increase the exposure gradually.
