Product Overview
Composition: Salbutamol (4mg)
ASTHALIN 4MG TABLET contains Salbutamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators. It is used to treat and prevent asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to treat chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchus), bronchospasm (narrowing of airways) and emphysema (shortness of breath).
Asthma is a long-term respiratory disease in which your airways become inflamed, swollen and narrowed. It also causes excessive mucous secretion in the airways which makes it difficult for the air to pass through, leading to unpleasant symptoms like wheezing, difficulty in breathing, chest pain and/or cough. Before taking ASTHALIN 4MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have diabetes, overactive thyroid functions or any heart problems (such as angina or irregular heartbeat) as a precaution. ASTHALIN 4MG TABLET should be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary by the physician.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Asthalin 4 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Asthalin 4 Tablet is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Asthalin 4 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
