Product Overview
Composition: Azithromycin (500mg)
AZEE 500MG TABLET contains Azithromycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Macrolide antibiotics. It is used to treat mild to moderate susceptible infections caused by bacteria and other micro-organisms which includes chest, throat, nasal infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, sore throat and sinusitis. It is also used to treat ear infections and skin & soft tissue infections (such as an abscess/boil) in affected individuals which is also indicated for use to treat sexually transmitted diseases such as cervicitis (caused by organisms such as Chlamydia trachomatis/ Neisseria gonorrhoea) in affected individuals.
Azee 500 Tablet is taken orally, preferably one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the return or worsening of the infection.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azee 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Azee 500 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Azee 500 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Safety Advice for Azee pure 500mg
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Azee 500 Tablet.
Pregnancy
AZEE 500MG TABLET should be used with caution during pregnancy and in woman planning for pregnancy only if it is clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
Breastfeeding
AZEE 500MG TABLET should be used with caution in breastfeeding woman as it is unknown whether the medicine is excreted in breastmilk. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
