Composition: Ciprofloxacin (500mg)
CIPLOX 500MG TABLET contains ciprofloxacin, which belongs to the group of medicines called fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It is used in adults in the treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, ear and sinus, urinary tract, genital tract, gastrointestinal tract, skin and soft tissue, bone and joint as well as anthrax inhalation exposure infections. The medicine is also used in the management of fever in neutropenia-associated infections.
Before taking CIPLOX 500MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are having kidney problems, neurological conditions, or heart diseases such as a tear in the aortic wall of the heart, bulge, or large blood vessels, leaking in the heart valves and congenital heart disease or myasthenia gravis.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ciplox 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Ciplox 500 Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
How It works
Ciplox 500 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Ciplox 500 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Allergy
Do not take CIPLOX 500MG TABLET if you are allergic to ciprofloxacin or any other quinolone antibiotics.
Pregnancy
CIPLOX 500MG TABLET is not recommended for pregnant and planning to get pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking CIPLOX 500MG TABLET.
Breastfeeding
