Product Overview
Cipro Cent 0.3% Drops is an antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class. It can be used as eye drops or ear drops as directed by your doctor. When used as eye drops, it is effective in treating bacterial infections of the cornea and conjunctivitis (pink eye). When used as ear drops, it can treat bacterial infections of the outer and middle ear, as well as prevent infections after ear surgery.
Cipro Cent 0.3% Drops works by killing or inhibiting the growth of bacteria that cause the infection. It is important to note that it is not effective against viral eye infections. It is recommended to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor, even if the symptoms improve before the course is finished. To help with adherence, it is advised to use the eye/ear drops at approximately the same time each day.
