Composition: Flutamide (250mg)
CYTOMID 250MG TABLET contains Flutamide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-androgens. CYTOMID 250MG TABLET is used in the treatment of prostate cancer, which is a type of cancer that occurs in the gland cells of prostate gland (male reproductive organ). CYTOMID 250MG TABLET is also used after surgical castration in affected individuals.
Before taking CYTOMID 250MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are at a risk of developing osteoporosis (condition marked by brittle bones) or have a family history of osteoporosis, suffering from diabetes, any blood vessel condition, and/or have intolerance to certain sugars (such as lactose.), heart problems (such as heart rhythm disorders), liver and kidney problems.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cytomid 250 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Cytomid 250 Tablet blocks the effect of the natural male hormones on the growth of prostate cells. Cytomid 250 Tablet also blocks the undesired effects of androgens in females such as excessive hair growth and acne.
Safety Advice for CYTOMID-250MG
Alcohol
Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking CYTOMID 250MG TABLET as it may alter the effect of the medicine.
Allergy
Do not take CYTOMID 250MG TABLET if you are allergic to Flutamide, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.
