Product Overview
Composition: Etoricoxib Tablet Ip 60 Mg
E-COX 60 contains an active substance called Etoricoxib. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which reduces pain, redness and swelling associated with many disease. Etoricoxib belongs to a group of medicines called selective COX-2 inhibitors which is used to reduce the pain and swelling in the joints and muscles.
Uses
- Pain and swelling in the joints and muscles with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout
- Moderate pain after dental surgery
Side Effect
Common side effects:
- Abdominal pain
- Alveolar osteitis
- Oedema/Fluid retention
- Dizziness, Headache
- Palpitations, Arrhythmia
- Hypertension
- Bronchospasm
How to use
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you.Take this medicine once a day orally. This medicine can be taken with or without food
How It works
It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers(Cycloxygenase-2) that are responsible for pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Allergy
Do not take this medicaton if you are allergic to etoricoxib or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy
This medicine is not recommended if you are pregnant or planning to have a baby. Ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Breastfeeding
If you are breast feeding or planning to have breast feed, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine as it is not known whether this medicine is excreted in human milk
