Composition: Ondansetron (4mg)
Emeset 4 Tablet is an antiemetic medicine commonly used to control nausea and vomiting due to certain medical conditions like stomach upset. It is also used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused due to any surgery, cancer drug therapy, or radiotherapy.
Emeset 4 Tablet may be used alone or with other medications and can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will suggest the appropriate dose depending on what you are taking it for. The first dose is normally taken before the start of surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. EMESET 4MG TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy. This medicine may pass through the breast milk hence it is not recommended during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Emeset 4 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Emeset 4 Tablet is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Emeset 4 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Alcohol
Consuming alcohol with Emeset 4 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Pregnancy
Emeset 4 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breastfeeding
Emeset 4 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
