Product Overview
Composition: Secnidazole (1000mg)
ENTOSEC 1000MG TABLET contains Secnidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiprotozoals. It is used to treat urethritis and vaginitis (urethral and vaginal inflammation) due to trichomonas vaginalis, intestinal and hepatic amebiasis (liver infection) and giardiasis (parasitic infection of the small intestine due to giardia parasite).
ENTOSEC 1000MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have a history of blood dyscrasia (abnormal condition or disease of the blood) or wheat allergy (condition that is different from celiac disease). Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking ENTOSEC 1000MG TABLET as it may increase the risk of unwanted effects.

How to use

How It works
Entosec 1000mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Entosec 1000mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Safety Advice for ENTOSEC-1000MG
Alcohol
Consuming alcohol while taking Entosec 1000mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Pregnancy
Entosec 1000mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Brestfeeding
Entosec 1000mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
