Composition: Cefuroxime (1.5gm)
Forcef 1.5gm Injection is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections in your body. It is effective in infections of the lungs (e.g. pneumonia), ear, throat, nasal sinus, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, bones, and joints. It is also used to prevent infections during surgery. Forcef 1.5gm Injection is given as a drip (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you.

How It works
Forcef 1.5gm Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Allergy
Do not receive FORCEF 1.5MG INJECTION if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Cefuroxime, cephalosporin, penicillin, monobactams, carbapenems or to any other ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy
The safety of FORCEF 1.5MG INJECTION during pregnancy has not been clearly established. The use of this medicine in pregnant women requires that the potential benefit from the drug be weighed against the possible risk to the mother and fetus. Consult your doctor before receiving the medicine.
Breastfeeding
FORCEF 1.5MG INJECTION should be used with caution during breastfeeding as it may pass into the breast milk. Consult your doctor before receiving the medicine.
