Product Overview
GESTIN 5MG TABLET contains Allylestrenol which belongs to group of medicines called Progestogens. It is used to treat intrauterine growth retardation (growth of the foetus is lesser than its normal growth rate), threatened abortion (vaginal bleeding at less than 20 weeks of gestation), and threatened premature delivery (onset of labor between 24 and 37 weeks of pregnancy) in affected women.

How to use
Take GESTIN 5MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition
How It works
GESTIN 5MG TABLET works by promoting the attachment of embryo to the lining of the womb which also improves blood flow to the placenta thus relaxing the uterus muscles and preventing the occurrence of premature labor in affected women.
What if you forget to take?
In case of a missed dose, take GESTIN 5MG TABLET as soon as you remember. You should not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose. Ask for your doctor’s advice.
