Product Overview
Composition: Granisetron (1mg)
GRANDEM INJECTION contains a medicine Granisetron which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-emetics. It is used to prevent or treat nausea (feeling sick) and vomiting (being sick) caused by other medical treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer or by surgery.
Before receiving GRANDEM INJECTION inform your doctor if you have heart disease, blockage in your stomach or intestines, or electrolyte abnormalities. GRANDEM INJECTION is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult with your doctor before receiving it. GRANDEM INJECTION should not be given to children below 2 years of age. GRANDEM INJECTION can be used in elderly people (65 years and older). However, consult with your doctor before receiving it.

How It works
Grandem Injection is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.

Alcohol
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Grandem Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Pregnancy
Grandem Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breastfeeding
Grandem Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
