Composition: Granisetron (1mg)
GRANDEM MD TABLET contains a medicine Granisetron which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-emetics. It is used to prevent or treat nausea (feeling sick) and vomiting (being sick) caused by other medical treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer. GRANDEM MD TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult with your doctor before taking. GRANDEM MD TABLET should not be used in children below 2 years of age. GRANDEM MD TABLET can be used in elderly people (65 years and older). However, consult with your doctor before taking.

Nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Grandem MD Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Grandem MD Tablet is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Grandem MD Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Pregnancy

Grandem MD Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
