Composition: Acyclovir (200mg)
HERPERAX 200MG TABLET contains Acyclovir, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antivirals. It is used to treat chickenpox, shingles, cold sores, genital herpes and other herpes simplex infections to prevent infections in people with a weakened immune system.
Cold sores, (a virus causing contagious sores, most often around the mouth or on the genitals), genital herpes (a common sexually transmitted infection caused by the herpes simplex virus and symptoms include genital pain and sores, pain, itching and small sores).

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Herperax Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Herperax Tablet is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Herperax Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Safety Advice for HERPERAX-200MG
Allergy
Do not take HERPERAX 200MG TABLET if you are allergic to Acyclovir, valacyclovir or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy
Herperax Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breastfeeding
Herperax Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
