Product Overview
Composition: Ramipril (5mg)
HOPACE 5MG TABLET contains Ramipril, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensives. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Blood pressure is the force exerted by the circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels. Hypertension is a condition in which the blood pressure is too high.
HOPACE 5MG TABLET reduces the risk of kidney problems and can be used as a treatment following a heart attack. HOPACE 5MG TABLET is also used to treat heart failure (a condition when the heart is not able to pump enough blood). Symptoms include headache, breathlessness, excess sweating, sleep disturbance, tingling and dizziness.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hopace 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Hopace 5 Tablet is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Hopace 5 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Alcohol
Hopace 5 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
Hopace 5 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding
Hopace 5 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
