Product Overview
Composition: Lorazepam (1mg)
LARPOSE 1MG TABLET contains Lorazepam which belongs to the group of medicines called Antianxiety agents. It is used to treat anxiety or sleeping difficulties due to anxiety which significantly affects routine life. LARPOSE 1MG TABLET can also be used as a sedative before any operative dental treatment or surgery.
LARPOSE 1MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having lung or liver diseases, myasthenia gravis (very weak or tired muscles), and sleep apnoea (breathing problems while sleeping). It should be used with caution in patients who have kidney diseases, habitual excessive use of drugs or alcohol, personality disorders, depression, history of psychotic illness, history of convulsions, and glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Larpose 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Larpose 1mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Larpose 1mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Safety Advice for Larpose 1mg
Pregnancy
Larpose 1mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding
Larpose 1mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Larpose 1mg Tablet should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Larpose 1mg Tablet should be gradual.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Larpose 1mg Tablet.
