Composition: Levetiracetam 500mg
Levetiracetam belongs to a class of drugs known as anticonvulsants which is used to treat seizures. It is an anticonvulsant used in combination with other medications to treat seizure disorders (epilepsy). Levetiracetam has been shown to decrease the number of seizures in adults and children.
Uses
- -Seizures
- -Tonic-clonic seizures in people who are at least 6 years old
- -Myoclonic seizures in people who are at least 12 years old
- -Partial onset seizures with or without generalisation in adults, adolescents, children and infants from one month of age

How to use
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine must be taken twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, at about the same time each day.
You may take this medicine with or without food.

What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Levetiracetam 500 XR (extended-release) tablets, it's essential to take it as soon as you remember, unless it's close to the time for your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.
