Product Overview
Composition: Meropenem (1000mg)
MEROBAX 1GM INJECTION contains Meropenem which belongs to the group of medicines known as Antibiotics. It is used to treat various bacterial infections such as pneumonia (including community acquired pneumonia and nosocomial pneumonia), urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, gynaecological infections such as endometritis and pelvic inflammatory disease, skin and skin structure infections, meningitis and septicaemia.
MEROBAX 1GM INJECTION is generally not recommended in patients with gastrointestinal problems and hypersensitivity reactions. Consult your doctor before receiving if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women. MEROBAX 1GM INJECTION should be used with caution in children over 3 months old and in geriatric patients.

How It works
Merobax 1000mg Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Allergy
Do not use MEROBAX 1GM INJECTION if you are allergic to Meropenem, antibiotics such as penicillins, cephalosporins, or carbapenems or to any ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy
MEROBAX 1GM INJECTION should not be used in pregnancy unless the benefit justifies the potential risk to the foetus. Consult your doctor before receiving.
Breastfeeding
MEROBAX 1GM INJECTION should not be used in breast-feeding women unless the benefit justifies the potential risk to the baby. Consult your doctor before receiving.
