Product Overview
MODAF, contains Modafinil scored tablets. Modafinil is a central nervous system (CNS) and stimulant and eurogenic (wakefulness promoter) medication used primarily to treat narcolepsy, a sleep disorder characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness and sudden sleep attacks. It is also approved for stimulating wakefulness in people with sleep apnea and shift work sleep disorder. It is taken by mouth.

How to use
MODAF,
Treatment should be initiated by or under the supervision of a physician with appropriate knowledge of indicated disorders. The recommended starting daily dose is 200 mg. The total daily dose may be taken as a single dose, one in the morning or as two doses in the morning and at one noon according to physician asseement of patient and patient response.

What if you forget to take?
MODAF, Missed Dose:
Talk with your doctor about what to do if you miss a dose of modafinil.
Do not take a dose of modafinil if you remember your dose but it is almost bedtime or you do not plan to be awake for several hours. Skip the missed dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose the next day.

Modafinil may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert. Avoid other dangerous activities until you know how modafinil will affect your level of wakefulness. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking modafinil.
