Composition: Amlodipine Besylate 2.5 mg + Atenolol 25 mg

MYLOD AT-H is a combination drug used to treat high blood pressure not effectively controlled by monotherapy.

 

Uses

It is used to treat :

  • High blood pressure
  • Chest pain due to narrowing of the blood vessels of the heart muscle
  • Uneven heart beats or heart attack

Side Effect

Common side effects:

  • Headache, Dizziness, Sleepiness
  • Palpitations, Flushing
  • Abdominal pain, Nausea
  • Altered bowel habits, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Indigestion
  • Tiredness, Weakness
  • Visual disturbances, Double vision
  • Muscle cramp

How to use

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine can be used before or after food. You should take this medicine at the same time each day with a drink of water. Do not take this medicine with grapefruit juice If you forget to take this medicine. If you forget to take a tablet, leave out that dose completely. Take your next dose at the right time.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose If you stop taking this medicine. Consult your doctor before you stop taking this medicine.

How It works

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes (widens) blood vessels and improves blood flow. Atenolol belongs to a class of drugs known as beta-blockers. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in your body, such as epinephrine, on the heart and blood vessels.This combination medicine is used to treat high blood pressure, Chest pain, and Heart attack.
