Composition:  Amoxycillin (500mg)

 

NOVAMOX 500MG CAPSULE contains Amoxycillin which belongs to a group of medicines called Penicillins. It is used to treat infections caused by bacteria in different parts of the body in affected individuals. It is also used in combination with other medicines to treat stomach ulcers in affected individuals. 

 

NOVAMOX 500MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients allergic to amoxycillin, penicillin and/or other antibiotics. Before taking NOVAMOX 500MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have glandular fever (viral infection caused by Epstein Barr Virus), unable to urinate regularly, scheduled for urine, blood or oestriol tests, kidney problems and/or liver problems (such as hepatic impairment).

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Novamox 500 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How It works

Novamox 500 Capsule is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

What if you forget to take?

If you miss a dose of Novamox 500 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Allergy

Do not take NOVAMOX 500MG CAPSULE if you are allergic to amoxycillin, penicillin, other antibiotics and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.

Pregnancy

NOVAMOX 500MG CAPSULE should be used with caution during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy. Consult and inform your doctor before taking the medicine.

Breastfeeding

NOVAMOX 500MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in breastfeeding women since it passes through milk. Consult and inform your doctor before taking the medicine.
