Odoxil 500mg Tab

Cefadroxil is commonly prescribed to treat various bacterial infections, including:

1. -Skin Infections: Such as impetigo, cellulitis, and skin abscesses.

2. -Urinary Tract Infections: Including bladder infections and kidney infections.

3. -Respiratory Tract Infections: Like strep throat, tonsillitis, and bronchitis.

4. -Other Infections: Cefadroxil may be used for certain ear, nose, and throat infections.

Common side effects might include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and mild rash. Serious side effects are rare but can include severe allergic reactions and diarrhea with blood.

 Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Odoxil 500mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Cefadroxil belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics. It works by interfering with the bacteria's cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to the death of the bacteria.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
