Product Overview
Composition: Ketoconazole
Phytoral 200 MG Tablet is an anti-fungal medicine that contains ketoconazole as an active ingredient. It is used in the treatment of various fungal infections. This medicine is used mainly for the treatment of infections of the skin and in some cases of the lungs caused by fungi. It damages the cell membrane of the fungus which kills it and prevents the further spread of fungal infections.

How to use
Take PHYTORAL TABLET as advised by your physician. Do not crush or chew it. Swallow PHYTORAL TABLET as whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration of therapy for you according to your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking PHYTORAL TABLET unless your doctor advises you to stop.
How It works
PHYTORAL TABLET works by blocking the synthesis of ergosterol (a key component of the fungal cell membrane) thus weakening the structure and function of the fungal cell membrane.
Safety Advice for PHYTORAL-200MG
Alcohol
Do not consume alcohol while taking PHYTORAL TABLET as it can lead to disulfiram-like reaction (a very uncomfortable reaction characterized by severe flushing). Consult your doctor for advice.
Pregnancy
PHYTORAL TABLET should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the baby. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Breastfeeding
PHYTORAL TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it can pass into the breastmilk. Consult your doctor before taking it.
