Product Overview
Composition: Sodium Valproate & Valporic acid
Proate Tablet is a combination of two antiepileptic medicines: Sodium Valproate and Valproic Acid. They work together to control seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Proate is used as an anticonvulsant and mood-stabilizing drug, primarily in the treatment of epilepsy, bipolar disorder, and, less commonly, major depression. It is also used to treat migraine headaches and schizophrenia.

How to use
Take this medication with or 1hour prior food. Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not chew, or break it.
How It works
Proate Tablet is a combination of two antiepileptic medicines: Sodium Valproate and Valproic Acid. SODIUM VALPROATE+VALPROIC ACID is used to treat epilepsy/seizures/fits, mood disorders and to prevent migraine headaches. SODIUM VALPROATE+VALPROIC ACID decreases the excessive and abnormal nerve activity in the brain, thereby controlling seizures.

Alcohol
Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking SODIUM VALPROATE+VALPROIC ACID as it may increase the risk of seizures
Pregnancy
Avoid taking SODIUM VALPROATE+VALPROIC ACID if you are pregnant unless prescribed by a doctor, as it could lead to serious birth defects.
