Composition:  Rizatriptan (10mg)

 

Rizact 10 Tablet is used in the treatment of acute attacks of migraine. It relieves the symptoms of migraine and prevents the attack from becoming worse. This medicine helps by narrowing the blood vessels, thereby relieving migraine headaches.

Rizact 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. You should continue to take this medicine for as long as the doctor advises and do not stop taking it suddenly.

How It works

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Rizact 10 Tablet works by constricting (narrowing) these blood vessels, thereby relieving the migraine headaches.

Allergy

Do not take RIZACT 10MG TABLET if you are allergic to Rizatriptan, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.

Pregnancy

Rizact 10 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Rizact 10 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby
