Composition:Teneligliptin (20mg)

TENEPRIDE 20 TABLET contains Teneligliptin which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-diabetic drugs. It is used to treat type II diabetes mellitus in adults in addition to proper diet, exercise and lifestyle changes.

Type II diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease associated with abnormally high levels of glucose in the blood due to inadequate production of a hormone called insulin (produced by the pancreas to metabolize glucose) or due to inadequate sensitivity of body cells to the actions of insulin. Before taking TENEPRIDE 20 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have hormonal problems, stomach problems (surgery in the gut) or if you are malnourished, starved, on an irregular diet.

Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tenepride 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How It works

Tenepride 20 Tablet is an antidiabetic medication. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and postmeal sugar levels

What if you forget to take?

If you miss a dose of Tenepride 20 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tenepride 20 Tablet.

Pregnancy

Tenepride 20 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Tenepride 20 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
