In male: The LH in male is also known as interstitial cells stimulating hormones. It stimulates the interstitial cells of testes for the secretion of hormone called testosterone.<br />
In female: It helps in the ovulation especially in the formation of corpus luteum and finally secreting&nbsp;progesterone.</p>
